The New Line of Ping K15 Fairway Wood

Different kinds of golf have different kinds of features. As we know, each one of the hot-selling golf will release different categories, just like Irons, Driver, Fairway Wood and Hybrid for people to choosing.

According to Ping, one of the leaders in golf equipment. A PINGinnovation called Straight Flight Technology makes you extremely straight with your fairway woods. This visible technology rotates the club face to a more square impact position, which provides straighter shots. Like the K15 driver, the Ping K15 fairway wood features Straight Flight Technology (SF Tec), which offers maximum forgiveness, while being versatile enough to play from the fairway or light rough. Though we'll talk about it a bit more in the "looks" section, the key to the K15 Fairway Wood's appeal is its extremely shallow face height, which not only makes it easy to hit from tight lies, equally as important, it makes it look easy to do just that.

Ping K15 Fairway Wood with a large profile and bigger face create a sizeable increase in MOI. This design positions the center of gravity back to produce high launch and low spin. Extra weight is concentrated in the sole, near the heel, making it easier to square the clubface for straighter shots. The large face and low, deep CG promote faster ball speeds and a higher, quicker launch. Where in many cases iron lofts are getting stronger (distance will always be king), with fairway woods, they're actually getting weaker. Take for example the K15. For many years the traditional loft for the 3 wood has been 15°. For the K15, however; like the relatively recent G15 and I15 series (15.5°), PING has elected to add loft to the 3 wood (16° in the case of the K15), which almost certainly is designed to help the struggling golfer get the ball in the air. Cheap golf club sets the lofting of 3 and 5 woods also accounts for the relative rise in popularity of the strong 3 wood, and the 4 wood.

Ping K15 Fairway Wood Main Features:

> Playability: High and straight is its motto; easy to launch high from all lies; handles rough with ease.

>Accuracy/Forgiveness: One of the easier woods to keep in play; shots seem to want to stay on-line; right side misses are nowhere to be found.

>Distance: Several testers get up to 10 yards more than with their own woods.

>Feel: Extra-large profile preserves feel on toe and other off-center hits.

>Look: Oversize, low-profile design sits low behind the ball and reinforces confidence; the elongated face says "can't miss."

Now these clubs are pretty much the same length as anything else out there. Ping K15 Fairway Wood is possibly the most improved shaft in Ping history. It's cool to see slices disappear from fairway metals.
